HAPPY NEW YEAR! Bracket season has officially arrived!! Always Almost There is so excited to be bringing you the fifth annual Goose Jam of the Year Bracket, and after such a banner year for the band we know it’s going to be a great contest!
So, what’s the deal?
Continuing in our desire to get as much community involvement as possible every year, we’re opening the floor up to YOU to help seed the bracket! The Formula created by Adam (@6R0M7) will aggregate everyone’s rankings to create the seedings from 1-64! Whether you’ve been keeping a list since April or just want to put one together now, we encourage everyone to get involved!
How do I submit rankings?
We are incredibly excited to be partnering with our friends at nugs.net on this year’s JOTY bracket to streamline the submission process - create a playlist in the app in order of your ranking (highest ranked at the top) and submit the link through this Google Form! nugs is running a special 50% Off promo until January 10th, so grab a year of All Access for $99 while you have the chance!
Playlist submissions will be due by 11:59pm ET on Monday, January 20th. PLEASE NOTE: You must rank at least 32 jams for your list to be included, and no more than 64 will be counted.
RULES FOR BRACKET ELIGIBILITY
The track must have been performed at a Goose show this year (Ted Tapes, Chateau tracks, and soundchecks are ineligible, regardless of official release)
We’ve had some questions about this - Goosemas and NYE are both eligible!
Every song is counted individually - (e.g. the 6/4 All I Need → Time to Flee → All I Need → Time to Flee would be considered four separate entries despite flawless segues)
D&B&Flamingos + 14 Minute Jam is ONE entry for the bracket - you only need to put one of these on your playlist for it to count
