Jam Breakdown - 10/8/21 Look Out Cleveland
Debuted on 10/3/20 in Swanzey, NH, Look Out Cleveland swiftly established itself as one of Goose’s strongest covers. The 14-minute debut version showcased Peter’s new clav and a filthy funk jam.
Its second outing at Legend Valley on 6/19/21 stretched its legs a little bit more than the debut, but still stayed largely inside-the-box.
Look Out Cleveland starts at 1:08:50.
And then there came the Terminal 5 version on 10/8/21. The second song of fall tour, following an explosive So Ready, Look Out Cleveland’s role as incredible jam vehicle was finally realized as Goose dropped an incredible 17-minute rendition that offered the first of the tour’s Arcadia-style jam peaks. Read on for my in-depth breakdown as it goes up against the 5/8 Rosewood in the 2021 Jam of the Year bracket.
